Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Event Manager.
- Able to work independently following instruction from Event Manager.
- Ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage a team of staff, giving full briefings up to 30 staff members.
- The ability to assist with customer queries/complaints and resolve issues in a calm and professional manner with the ability to identify when to raise further with the Hospitality Manager.
- Assist with the signing in of staff.
- Assist during the staff briefing.
- Full understanding of menus including allergens and confident relaying information to staff and guests.
- Identify duties and effectively delegate these to staff for example- demonstrate a lay-up process or break-down process.
- Assist with paperwork.
Requirements:
- Proven relevant experience in Hospitality (previous experience or completed shifts with Host).
- Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate well with staff.
- Knowledge of event team service.
- Good organizational skills/ leadership skills.
- Knowledge of the 14 Allergens.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Smart, polite, professional and always well presented.
- Passionate for service standards.
