Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Event Manager.
  • Able to work independently following instruction from Event Manager.
  • Ensure excellent customer service.
  • Manage a team of staff, giving full briefings up to 30 staff members.
  • The ability to assist with customer queries/complaints and resolve issues in a calm and professional manner with the ability to identify when to raise further with the Hospitality Manager.
  • Assist with the signing in of staff.
  • Assist during the staff briefing.
  • Full understanding of menus including allergens and confident relaying information to staff and guests.
  • Identify duties and effectively delegate these to staff for example- demonstrate a lay-up process or break-down process.
  • Assist with paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Proven relevant experience in Hospitality (previous experience or completed shifts with Host).
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate well with staff.
  • Knowledge of event team service.
  • Good organizational skills/ leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of the 14 Allergens.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Smart, polite, professional and always well presented.
  • Passionate for service standards.
