Staff safety is extremely important to us at Host Staffing. Please make sure you only sign up to shifts with hours you are comfortable working/ you know you can safely get home from.
For shifts that start before 6am and after midnight most of our clients will provide a taxi allowance or provide you with a pre booked taxi home. Please check in advance of your shift the allowance will get you home safely, so you are not left with a huge bill at the end of a long shift!
The taxi policy for each shift will be stated in the job declaration and in your confirmation email, so please check this before you apply.
If it is the case where you are required to book the taxi yourself, you will need to submit your taxi receipt via the Host App (Completed Shifts) or the Staff Portal (Completed Shifts) within 48hrs of the shift.
You need to make sure you download the PDF invoice and submit this.
Your taxi receipt needs to include:
- Your name ( needs to be on the receipt - we need to prove it is your taxi!)
- Date
- Time of the ride
- Start and end address
We need all the above information for us to be able to invoice the client and reimburse your trip.
Your taxi expenses will be paid to you on the same day you receive payment for the shift.
